Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Race Globe, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Race Globe is operated by an individual sole proprietor. Contact: contact@raceglobe.app.
Description of the service
Race Globe is a platform that helps people discover, compare, save, and record endurance sports events. Some features—such as Race Passport and Race Records—require an account.
Accounts
You are responsible for providing accurate account information and for keeping your login credentials confidential. You must use only one account per person and notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. You may delete your account at any time from /account.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scrape or harvest data from Race Globe
- Use automated systems for bulk access that overload or abuse the service
- Attempt to access another user’s account, Passport, Records, or other private data
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where applicable law allows
- Use Race Globe for any unlawful purpose
User content
You retain ownership of the notes, Race Passport entries, Race Records, and other content you submit. By submitting that content, you grant Race Globe a limited license to store, process, and display it back to you as needed to provide the service. You are responsible for the content you submit and for ensuring you have the rights to submit it.
Accuracy of race information
Race information on Race Globe—including dates, distances, courses, registration status, and course conditions—is provided for informational purposes only. It may be incomplete, incorrect, or out of date.
You must verify all details with the official race organizer before registering, traveling, or making other decisions based on a listing. Race Globe is not the organizer of any listed event unless a listing expressly states otherwise.
No affiliation
Listing an event on Race Globe does not imply affiliation with, sponsorship by, or endorsement from the event organizer, series owner, or any related brand.
Intellectual property
Race Globe’s own branding, design, software, and original editorial content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy or reuse that material except as allowed by these terms or with prior written permission.
Disclaimer of warranties
Race Globe is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Race Globe and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service, reliance on event listings, or interactions with third-party organizers. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) zero if the service is provided free of charge.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, or create risk for other users or the platform. You may stop using Race Globe and delete your account at any time.
Changes to the service and these terms
We may change Race Globe features over time and may update these Terms of Use. When we update the terms, we will revise the “Last updated” date on this page. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Governing law
Governing law and jurisdiction will be specified prior to public launch.
