Information we collect

Depending on how you use Race Globe, we may collect the following categories of information.

Account data

When you create an account, we process your email address and password (hashed and managed by Supabase Auth), plus optional profile details such as display name, country, preferred language, and experience level.

User content

If you use Race Passport, we store entries you create—such as saved races, status, preferred distance, and notes. If you use Race Records, we store result details you enter, including finish times, splits, rankings, bib number, rating, personal notes, and source result URLs.

Technical data

Our hosting providers may process standard server logs (for example, IP address, request path, and timestamps) needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

• Provide and maintain the Race Globe service
• Authenticate your account and keep you signed in
• Save races to your Race Passport
• Store and display Race Records you create
• Personalize aspects of your experience based on profile preferences you choose
• Respond to support requests and communicate about your account when needed

Purpose of processing

We process personal information to operate Race Globe as described in this policy—primarily to provide the features you request, keep the service secure, and improve reliability. We do not make jurisdiction-specific legal claims in this policy. Governing law and jurisdiction will be specified prior to public launch.

Data storage and processors

Race Globe data is hosted using Supabase (database, authentication, and storage) and Vercel (application hosting). These providers may process data in data centers outside your country of residence as part of delivering the service.

Third-party tracking

Race Globe does not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers at this time.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use non-essential advertising or analytics cookies.

Data sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share information with service processors (such as Supabase and Vercel) only as needed to host and operate Race Globe, or when we are required to do so by law.

Data retention and deletion

We retain account and user-content data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You can permanently delete your account from /account. Account deletion removes your profile, Race Passport entries, and Race Records associated with your account.

Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate information, or delete your account and related data. You can update some profile details in your account settings, and you can delete your account at /account. For other requests, email contact@raceglobe.app.

Children

Race Globe is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of Race Globe after an update means you have had an opportunity to review the revised policy.
